Registered or Near Registered Valuer –Queenstown or Wānaka

Colliers is seeking a registered or near‑registered valuer to join our high‑performing Valuation team in Queenstown or Wānaka. This is a rare opportunity to build your career in a fast‑growing region, working across an interesting and varied portfolio.

About the Role

Based in either Queenstown or Wānaka, you’ll provide high‑quality, accurate, and impartial valuation advice across a broad range of commercial and industrial assets, with the opportunity to expand into accommodation, land, and development properties, depending on your experience.
You will undertake valuations for a variety of purposes including mortgage security, financial reporting, rental assessments, insurance, and sale / purchase.

This role suits someone who is proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to confidently manage a diverse workload while contributing to a collaborative, close‑knit local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake commercial and industrial valuations, plus accommodation and land/development valuations where experienced.
• Conduct thorough market research, data analysis, and property inspections.
• Produce clear, well‑reasoned, and high‑quality valuation reports to industry and Colliers standards.
• Ensure compliance with all IVS, NZIV, Australia and New Zealand Property Valuation Guidance Papers, and best practice standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold professional integrity.
• Participate in CPD activities and contribute to a positive team culture.

About You

You will be:

• A Registered Valuer, or a near‑registered valuer with at least two years’ experience.
• Technically strong, analytically and mathematically minded, and confident with valuation methodologies.
• A clear communicator with excellent report‑writing skills and high attention to detail.A motivated team player who thrives in a fun and supportive team.
• Someone who takes pride in professional standards and client service.
• Holder of a full, clean New Zealand driver licence.
